The budget for this project is divided into the materials that will be needed to fabricate the vehicle and competition/travel fees for both the vehicle and the team. The budget pictured above is a general overview of what each subsystem needs. Below, the subsystem budgets are listed with potential vendors and a full list of materials included in each. The main components that we will need are the metal tubing, gear hub, and carbon fiber composite material. As of now, the team has just enough money to purchase the metal tubing for the frame and drivetrain. To meet the overall proposed budget, the team is currently seeking sponsorships or donations from bicycle shops, airlines, and manufacturing companies.
